It is made up of a 4Cr14 Steel drop point blade that is least likely to chip or crack within time and a unique stainless steel handle with chromium contents and ridges for a less slippery grip.  The BlackWash coating also provides an extra measure of protection for the metal and helps hide any additional scratches you put on the knife during normal use.  When not in use, the knife securely snaps into the handle and is easily deployed using one-handed manual opening mechanism; the flipper and the SpeedSafe assisted opening system.
