6 Inch Chemical Light stick, also known as a Glow stick is a tube of transparent plastic containing chemical fluids which are held apart in the form of two compartments. The outer tube which is made up of plastic contains a part of the chemical mixture and the inner part is a plastic tube which contains the second part of the chemical mixture. If the Light stick is twisted or bent it breaks the inner tube and the chemicals get mixed which results in a certain reaction which emits light. It does not emit heat. These have various utility purposes, like they are used in the military forces or by the deep sea divers to cast light.
